Atelier – artist’s workshop or studio, traditionally run by a Mastercraftsman training apprentices and journeymen.

Anyone, at any age, can learn to draw

Classic art principles – line, form, color – remain the same across the ages. Lessons in the beginning of instruction at all ages can be remarkedly similar. Math, languages, sciences – they all start with learning basic principles and then building on those foundations.

Tutoring is available for ages Kindergarten through Adults.

A defined and tested curriculum customizable per apprentice’s abilities and age will be used, so progress and learning may be tracked.

When & Where

I am very flexible! Typically, classes are 30 minutes for individuals, up to an hour for group instruction.

I do have small children, so availability will also be dependent on childcare arrangements.

Location will be discussed and agreed upon based on need. Parks, schools, and libraries are common tutoring locations, but in-home classes are also available.
